Sarian Family Child Care was my daughters first experience in child care. We could not be happier with our overall family experience over the past year. The kids have great fun learning, creating, and interacting. The staff provides great communication of what was covered daily, what supplies are needed, and activities pictures throughout the week. My daughter and I both love this place. Maryam is so warm and nurturing, and even from my first visit, I could tell she really cares. Her communication has been great from day one. I love seeing the pictures she sends throughout the day. My daughter is so excited to go in the mornings, that she usually reaches the door before I do. They do tons of fun activities, and my daughter is always learning. From letters, numbers, colors, and shapes to social skills and emotions, and more, she’s learning a lot. She sometimes still surprises me with what she knows. At drop off and pick-up, it’s very special to see my daughter just being herself and interacting with the other kids. At home, she’s always excitedly talking about her friends at daycare. I’m so happy that I chose to send my daughter here.

It's a good-sized group of little ones so he is really able to get individualized attention. From the moment I walked in, I felt Maryam's warmth and dedication. Safety and cleanliness are top-notch, and the staff's commitment to individualized care is remarkable. The communication with parents is exceptional & as a first-time mom, it has been really helpful to receive guidance about my son's needs & development. Regular check-ins (& sweet photos) kept me well informed and involved in my child's development journey. My child not only learned valuable skills but also made lasting friendships. This is my first time having my daughter away from me so I was very nervous and scared looking for an affordable day care to send my daughter. My daughter cried the first few times due to separation anxiety but now she is super excited to get dressed in the mornings so that she can go play and learn at day care. Eveytime I come to pick her up, all the kids are doing fun activities and having a blast! I am so happy I chose to send my daughter here 💓 she is so loved and taken care of! This is the best choice of could have made for my child and I don't have to worry one bit when I'm at work. Very pleased 😀

Maryam has been caring for my baby since he was 4 months old. He is always happy to see her in the morning and seems content and well rested when I pick him up. She is very responsive over text, sends photos during the day, and is super flexible about pick up and drop off times, which is invaluable for working parents. She is a font of knowledge when it comes to children, and has been helpful when it comes to diagnosing problems/fussiness. She's a gem, we're grateful to have her!

I've been bringing my child for 3 years to Sarian Family Child Care. I am so happy with Maryam. She is so kind and caring to my child and the other children. She works really well with parents. For instance there have been a lot of instances where I had to come late (around 6:30pm) for pick up and she has not charged me once for a late fee. She also waived my registration fee when I first started. There was a non refundable deposit for the first two weeks, but I did not mind since it was going to the payment of my child's spot and attendance. My child knows their ABCs and numbers are such a young age because Maryam works hard and does multiple activities. She recently remodeled her facility which I appreciate because it looks so clean and organized. She also remodeled her outdoor area and it's been nice seeing my child so happy to come to school! Highly recommend because the price is really fair for the Santa Monica area, she is kind and caring, she has a lot of experience, and she does a lot of play based learning which I feel is great for kids. It was a difficult decision to decide where to put my daughter in daycare, but after looking at several different options, I felt Maryam was the best for my daughter. Maryam is a mother herself which really resonated with me. She's a hard working woman who truly has a passion for kids. My daughter was 15 months when she started going to daycare, and she didn't even cry on her first day. I was mostly concerned about nap time, as my daughter has never napped by herself. She either would nurse to sleep, or fall asleep in a baby carrier. Maryam is so experienced, my daughter had no issue with her naps. I was shocked. She has a lot of activities for the kids, both indoor and outdoor, and sends pictures throughout the day. She was flexible with me when I needed to add days and just a real pleasure to work with. Some of the other reviews may have superficial things to say like the facilities being older, but I challenge you to focus on whats most important, and that is having someone who truly cares about your kiddo. Maryam has developed a bond with my daughter and it is really special to see.

I’ve been with Maryam a while and she treats my son very well. She’s bought him toys and backpacks and taught him his ABCs. He loves to play with the children in the backyard with all the cool toys she has. She treats him with a lot of care and love.
